Nordplus, the educational programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Sustainable Living Programme invites you for a lunch!

Nordplus is the educational programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The responsibility of the administration of the programme is divided between the Nordic countries, with each country administering one sub-programme and working as a information office for the other sub-programmes. The coordination of these efforts is in the hands of one country at a time, and for the last six years Rannís – The Icelandic Centre for Research has had the responsibility of overseeing the administration and the cooperation between the offices. This mandate is now coming to and end and The Swedish Council of Higher Education is taking over the main coordination at the beginning of next year.

The Sustainable Living programme has the goal of promoting sustainable choices as the new norm in the Nordic Region. This has been done through a cross-sectoral programme consisting of six projects. The aim has been to simplify living in a climate-friendly way, provide concrete guidelines and tools, and inspire behavioral and cultural changes. The Sustainable Living programme is now coming to an end, although some initiatives will carry on independently. The efforts of these six programmes have helped in a more integrated and sustainable Nordic Region by 2030.

Here is a list of all participants in the session as well as the the number of votes of the delegates.

The number of votes varies among the delegates according to the UNR's statutes. In our statutes, it states the following:

§ 5.6 Voting Rights
The distribution of votes at UNR's session. All political youth organizations that, according to § 3, are members of UNR have one vote. Additionally, organizations represented in the Nordic Council have the same number of votes in UNR as their mother party has in the Nordic Council. The presidium members have one vote each. A representative in UNR can have one or more votes, and the votes cannot be distributed among multiple individuals. It is a requirement that the organization is represented at UNR's session to be able o use the voting right. The presidium members do not represent their member organization during the session. Umbrella organizations may send their own observers, but these do not have voting rights. For the representative to be eligible to vote, in addition to their presence, a signed power of attorney from one of the organization's general secretaries or chairpersons is also required.

Here is a list of the members of the Nordic council.
